NATIONAL COMPOSITE CENTER AND UTAH STATE UNIVERISTY BUILD REPLICA FLYER FOR CENTINIAL CELEBRATION
DAYTON, Ohio –July 17, 2003 –The National Composite Center selected T.A.M. Communications to document the celebratory flight of a replica of the 1905 Wright “B” Flyer built by students at Utah State University. Created from composite materials, the replica flew over Huffman Prairie, the Wright Brothers circled 100 years earlier.
T.A.M. Communications captured the recreated flight using Betcam and miniDV equipment. The raw footage was edited for distribution on Betacam to media outlets, and compressed on CD for multimedia and web distribution.
